PanPastels and masking tape

To make my background today I added strips of torn masking tape to white card before blending the PanPastels.  The masking tape means that the Pans stick to it making a very textured surface.

I then took a script stamp, in my hand and not on a block, and randomly stamped using brown Archival.  The owl was stamped on an old book page and coloured with Pans.  The sentiment was stamped on an off cut of the tag and cut into individual words then added to the tag using foam pads.

The ribbon was coloured using Distress Ink.

Why not pop ove to the Welove2Create blog to check out the fabulous makes by my team mates xx

Distressed PanPastels!!!!

LMorning all, and thank, you for popping over from the We Love 2 Create Challenge Blog.

My inspiration today uses PanPastels and Goosebumps.  My intention was to distress my PanPastels with the Goosebumps but I didn't intend to blend my PanPastels over the Goosebumps before it was dry - but I love the effect!

The stamps I used were from Sheena Douglass - Phantom Ship.

Therefore this week I have several of my favourite things - PanPastels, Sheena Douglass stamps and Goosebumps.

A really good day for sure!!!!

PanPastels - We Love 2 Create Challenge

My inspiration this week is an MDF heart which I covered with white Gesso and when this was dry I applied texture paste through a Sheena Douglass stencil.

When this was dry I covered it with yellow PP and silver gilding wax.

The flowers and humming bird were stamped and embossed onto white card and cut out.  I then coloured them with PP and added black Distress Glitter to the centre of the flowers and a touch of Stickles over the flowers and bird.  Unfortunately the sparkle doesn't show in the picture.

All finished off with a Tim Holtz rub in the top left corner.

Why not pop over HERE to take a look at the amazing inspiration from my Team mates and why not enter - there's a fabulous prize for the winner.

Sweet Lilac Flowers

KThere's a new Challenge starting today over on the Sweet Lilac Flower blog.

My piece includes stamping on an old book page.  I used the Claritystamp Sketchy Lady and Spectrum Noir pencils to colour it.  I tore the page all round and blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink into the edges before rolling the corner.

After adding a sentiment, some matching ribbon and the fabulous Sweet Lilac Flowers my card was complete.

There is a fabulous selection of flowers on offer for the winner so why not pop over HERE and give it a go.  There are also fabulous pieces from my Design Team mates to tickle your crafty juices.

PanPastels and Indigoblu stamps - PanPastel Challenge Anything Goes

Today I'm sharing with you a blast from the past.  I hope you'll forgive me as I'm preparing for a special week this week.  My daughter and son in law are coming over to visit from Canada.  I haven't seen them for five years!

The card background uses the paler shades of PanPastel with Indigoblu stamps.

There is some fabulous inspiration from my team mates over on the Chalkenge Blog, it would be great if you could pop along to take a peak.  It would be even better if you could join in - there's a prize for the winner.
