Claritystamp Challenge - Masculine

I was desperate to use my Film Strip Stencil and felt the Masculine theme was perfect!  I also had my new Wheelie Stencil which I was also desperate to use!!

In fact I've only used one stamp on this card.

To make the film strip base I inked the actual stencil with black ink and put it through my Grand Calibre.  Having used so much black ink I felt it only right that I should co ute this with a bright colour.  The sun was shining beautifully when I made this card which made me feel in the mood for yellow.

Hope you like how it turned out.

Well done to the Winner of the May Challenge and to the well deserved Top 5.

It's Fathers Day soon so why not enter your card into this months Challenge - we love to see your creations.

Tarmac (in the garden)!

This is a tag I made this week using Karen Clare's brilliant Tarmac technique again!!!

I used a size 8 Manilla tag which I embossed with a Sheena  Douglass embossing folder and then added Spellbinder die cuts.

Hope you like it.  Have a lovely Sunday in this fantastic sunshine.

Claritystamp Challenge - It's All in the Words

Well thank you so much everyone for all your lovely entries in The April Challenge - Monochrome.

There were so many good projects which made it extremely difficult to choose a Top 5, Congratulations to you all.

On to this months Challenge - and a Challenge is exactly what I made it this month!!!!  I had a project half done but needed a couple of extra items from Clarity to finish it off, the only trouble was they hadn't arrived!!!!

I then had to start again with a different project so took Barbara's tip from her blog a few days ago when she advised us to go to our stash of Gelli prints - voila!!!!  This is what I found.

Made using these stencils

I know one of the stencils is seaweed but I think it's wonderful for woodland scenes.

When I made the tag I needed something to make it stand out on the project so I tried putting it onto mesh from my stash, I really love the effect and will be using it again in the future.

Looking forward to seeing your wonderful projects again this month.
