Polymer Clay - Dragons Eye and Owl book cover

Wow did I indulge myself yesterday with a full day of Polymer Clay playing.

I decided to cover two A5 2016 Diaries for the younger members of our family.

The Dragons Eye cover looks like a piece of old leather in real life.

Left over food and left over Polymer Clay - the perfect day for between Xmas and New Year.

Hope you all had a great time xxx

PanPastel Altered Dictionary

For my inspiration today I decided to add to my Altered Dictionary.  PanPastels are the perfect medium for this work as they don't bleed through the quite thin paper.

Firstly I did all the stamping,

I then started to add the colour

Finally I added glitter to the lips, eyes and bells.

Have a very Happy Xmas everyone and thank you so much for all your support throughout 2015 xxxx

PanPastel Challenge

Morning all!

For this weeks Panpastel Challenge I set myself a personal Challenge which was to only use bits and bobs which were already on my desk left over from previous projects.  This was the end result.

The base was half embossed through an embossing folder and half had added texture from some leftover texture paste popped through a stencil.

I painted over this with white Gesso.

When dry I added a mixture of metallic PanPastels and Diarylide Yellow to show off the texture.

I then had some flowers, leaves and stems which had already been stamped and coloured with ink but I added metallic PanPastels to tie everything together.

I put it altogether and layered onto some lovely purple card to finish off, hope you like it.

Wire Tree of Life Pendants

I've so been enjoying my Tree of Life projects over the last couple of weeks.

Here's a selection - a bare tree, one with a moon, one in full bloom and one with a flourish.

Hope you like them too.
