PanPastel ATC

This week for the Challenge over on the http://welove2create.blogspot.co.uk/ Blog I've made a little floral ATC.  The inspiration came from this months Craft Stamper Magazine.  I've been considering cancelling my subscriptions to the stamping magazines I take as they were becoming a bit "Samey" - well have you seen this months Craft Stamper?  Wow has it had a make over - I loved it!!!!!

So anyway back to my ATC - I took my ATC and covered it in Gesso and when dry added Violet and Permanent Red Panpastel for the background.  I then added all sorts of texture, more Gesso and more PanPastels.  Next came the florals, flourishes and butterfly.  Again more gesso and more PanPastels - you just wouldn't believe the amount of layers there is on this project!  It got a little dark at one point so I just knocked it all back a bit with the White Gesso until I got the desired affect.

Next came the pearls and sparkles and a bit of silver gilding wax, hope you like it.

I'm off to have another look at my magazine.

PanPastels

My project for this weeks Challenge over on the http://welove2create.blogspot.co.uk/ Challenge blog.

I created the background using PanPastels and used Sheena Douglass stamps and stencils.

The "Rays" were created by taking off the PanPastels through the stencil and the grid pattern was created by adding PanPastels through the stencil.

Have a great weekend - if it ever stops raining!

Wire wrapping a cabochon

I was very pleased with the way this pendant turned out.  I'm also very pleased with the Viking knit necklace too.

Sheena Douglass Paint Fusion

Morning all
Just thought I'd pop in to add my Design Team samples from Sheena's shows at the weekend.

It was so lovely to try something new!  Not only that it was something new which I absolutely loved doing.  I did a bit of practice but was soon off on a mission "fusioning" everything that stood still!  It was so calming - if you haven't already done so you must try it.

My first sample as a pallet.

Then a tag where I added paint fusion to a Panpastel background.

A denim bag

I have the little birdie a long tail!

An MDF box using the lace stamp set.

A little canvas with the birdie again, this time with its usual tail.

And finally a card.

PanPastels meet Paint Fusion!

Hi there, thank you so much for popping in.

Today I have a tag for you which is made using a PanPastel background but the flower is painted using the Paint Fusion technique.  I'm soooo pleased with how well they work together.

PanPastels Tim Holtz Rain Man

OThis week it was the birthday of a very special person in my life and this is the card I made for him.

It started off with a PanPastel background with various stamps added including one of my favourites of all time - Raindrops by Designs by Ryn.

Please pop over to the http://welove2create.blogspot.co.uk/ as there are some fabulous projects created by my team mates.

Thanks for popping in xx
